Mr. Trebon is one of Arizona’s top trial and appellate advocates. He is a member of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, and of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group of attorneys who have collected verdicts or settlements in excess of one million dollars for their clients. From 2016 to 2025 Mr. Trebon has been selected to Super Lawyers, a recognition of lawyers  who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. He is also a specialist in criminal law recognized by the Arizona State Bar Association.

Having completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics at the University of Arizona and while working on his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Trebon worked with the Southern Poverty Law Center and Law Students Civil Rights Research Council fighting the unjust imposition of the death penalty. As a public defender first for the State and later the Federal government, Mr. Trebon tried and won numerous cases. Subsequently Mr. Trebon served the Arizona Innocence Project as Board member and lead volunteer lawyer alongside a successful private trial and appellate practice. 

Mr. Trebon has argued appeals before the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Arizona, the Supreme Court of the Navajo Nation, the Hopi Appellate Court, the Federal Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. His work as a trial lawyer has informed his arguments on appeals, while his appellate work has enhanced his presentation of issues at the trial level. He has briefed and argued dozens of cases; both criminal and civil cases.
